Due to the unprecedented levels of snow over this winter, totaling over eight feet with minimum snow melting, Mayor James J. Fiorentini has declared a suspension of the City of Haverhill's Overnight Winter Parking Ordinance for the month of March 2015.   As there is still a large amount of snow remaining along streets, it will be difficult for parkers to now switch over to the odd side of the street on March 1st as called for in the Ordinance. Therefore, vehicles that park on city streets should park on the EVEN side of the street beginning March 1st  to March 31st, from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am. Violators are subject to a $25.00 fine and towing of motor vehicle.  The Overnight Winter Parking ban ends on April 1st.
