City of Haverhill January 18, 2005 Meeting of the City Council was held at 7:00 o’clock P.M.

Present,-President Michitson, Councillors Ryan, Daly O’Brien, Fossarelli, Hart, DesMarais, Scatamacchia, Hall and Macek

Councillor Hall was appointed to read the records for the last week and the present week.

1.Notice was received from Mayor Fiorentini of the appointment of Marianne Bitner to the Haverhill Events Commission. Said appointment effective January 10, 2005 to expire January 10, 2007 .

2.Communication was received from Mayor Fiorentini requesting permission to address the Council concerning a new grant that the City has received to establish a smart growth overlay district.
