City of Haverhill February 8, 2005 Meeting of the City Council was held at 7:00 o’clock P.M.

Present,-President Michitson, Councillors Ryan, Daly O’Brien, Fossarelli, Hart, DesMarais, Scatamacchia, Hall and Macek

Records of the last meeting were approved

Councillor Daly O’Brien was appointed to read the records for the present week.

Notice was received from Mayor Fiorentini of the appointment of Michael Conneely to the Central Business District Parking Commission. Said appointment effective February 1, 2005 to expire February 1, 2008 .

Notice was received from Mayor Fiorentini of the appointment of Jonathan Cox to the Central Business District Parking Commission. Said appointment effective February 4, 2005 to expire February 4, 2006 .

HEARINGS

Hearing was held on Document 70-B, an application from James Antonopoulos, representing the Haverhill Hound, Rod & Gun Club requesting a Special Permit to Build Within 500’ of Water Supply; Chadwick Pond, at Chadwick rd for an addition to the Clubhouse.

On motion of Councillor DesMarais to amend the special permit to include all of the conditions as stated in the Department Head letters, the yeas and nays were as follows:

Hearing was held on Document 159, a petition from Attorney James Waldron representing GHF Realty Limited Partnership requesting a Zoning Change to the Zoning Ordinance-Section 255:16, Table 1, Table of Use and Parking Regulations, Page 3, “Hospital” be amended by inserting “S” in the IP Zone.

NEW BUSINESS

Councillor Daly O’Brien introduced Document 25 To Wit: ORDERED: Be it ordered by the City Council of the City of Haverhill That the Mayor be and hereby is authorized to enter into and execute a perpetual right and easement to Massachusetts Electric Company, to install, construct, reconstruct, repair, replace, add to, maintain and operate electrical transmission lines and ssociated overhead supply systems, and underground systems and support systems at the Haverhill Wastewater Facility’s main pump station located at South Mill Street , more particularly described in Exhibit “B” attached hereto and incorporated herein, for the purpose of operating the pump station.
