City of Haverhill May 3, 2005 Meeting of the City Council was held at 7:00 o’clock P.M.

Present,-President Michitson, Councillors Ryan Daly O’Brien Fossarelli, Hart, DesMarais, Scatamacchia, Hall and Macek

Records of the meeting of April 19 th were approved.

Councillor Fossarelli was appointed to read the records for the meeting of April 26 th and the present week.

On motion of Councillor Ryan that the rules be suspended to recognize Derek Mitchell, technician for Haverhill Community Television, who is leaving his position, the yeas and nays were as follows:

Notice was received from Mayor Fiorentini of the appointment of Lucio D Gomez to the Events Commission. Said appointment effective April 28 , 2005 to expire April 29, 2005.

HEARING

Hearing was held on Document 27, an application from Attorney James Waldron on behalf of Wintervale Realty Trust, requesting a Special Permit to build a three-family dwelling on Farrwood dr. With Attorney Paul Magliochetti appearing in favor and Leslie Hilton & Ed Strazdins appearing in opposition, the hearing was closed.

On motion of Councillor DesMarais to amend the application to include the comments from the Planning Director, agreement about residential sprinklers be installed and also On motion of Councillor Macek that document be amended that prior to issuance of a triplex foundation permit the developer will need to have filed with the City Clerk or Planning Director a fully executed agreement which includes the provisions stated tonight along with the full repair of Farrwood dr in some fashion, the yeas and nays were as follows:

Yeas,-Councillors Ryan, Daly O’Brien, Hart, DesMarais, Scatamacchia, Macek and President Michitson 7, Nays,-Councillor Hall 1, Abstain,-Councillor Fossarelli 1, and MOTION PASSED
