Meeting of the City Council was held at 7:00 o’clock P.M.

Present,- President Hart, Councillors Hall, Hetel, Swartz, Daly O’Brien, Scatamacchia, Ryan, Macek and Curtin

Records of the last meeting were approved.

Councillor Daly O’Brien was appointed to read the records for the present week.

Communication was received from Mayor Fiorentini requesting permission for Walter Montgomery of the Northeast Mosquito Control District and Health Agent Bonnie Dufresne to make a presentation regarding mosquito control and the EEE Virus.

PETITIONS

Application was received from the Winnekenni Foundation for a special license to sell alcoholic beverages at the Castle on Friday, June 23 2006 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Petition was received from Verizon New England and National Grid requesting a joint pole location on Inland st.

COMMUNICATIONS

Communication was received from Councillor Hall requesting to introduce Attorney Timothy Barnes to request that Saturday,April 29 2006 be recognized as Rebuilding Together Greater Haverhill Inc. Day and also requests that all fees be waived.

On motion of Councillor Hall that the fees be waived but not the inspections and also to waive dumpingfees for white goods, tires & leaves, the yeasand nays were as follows:

Communication was received from Councillor Hall requesting to inform the public of Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Day, on Saturday, April 8 2006 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.

Communication was received from Councillor Ryan requesting a discussion regarding the disposal of brush and leaves.

Communication was received from Councillor Scatamacchia requesting an update on the Armory lease.

NEW BUSINESS

Councillor Hall introduced Document 19-G To Wit: Communication was received from Mayor Fiorentini regarding Document 25-E, an Order to authorize the Mayor to sign and deliver a lease agreement with Evergreen Wireless for a ground lease at 500 Primrose st for a communications facility that was not passed on August 9 2005.

On motion of Councillor Hall to postpone, the yeas and nays were as follows:
