Meeting of the City Council was held at 7:00 o’clock P.M.

Present,-President Hart, Councillors Hall, Hetel, Swartz, Daly O’Brien, Scatamacchia, Macek, and Curtin

Absent,-Councillor Ryan

Records of the last two meetings were approved.

Councillor Curtin was appointed to read the records for the present week.

Petition was received from Janet Donovan of the Haverhill Downtown Association, announcing the City’s 3 rd Annual Italian Festival on Sunday October 1 st; with requests to place a sign in Columbus Park, the use of the City stage, the closing of streets and square and the waiving of City vendor fees.

HEARING

Hearing was held on Document 83, an application from Lewis Builders Inc requesting a Special Permit to amend the Zoning Code Table of Use & Parking Regulations Chapter 255, for property off Hilldale av to be rezoned to IP (Industrial Park) from RR (Rural Residential).

On motion of Councillor Hall to postpone, the yeas and nays were as follows:

On motion of Councillor Hall to suspend the rules to introduce a request to hang a banner, the yeas and nays were as follows:
