Meeting of the City Council was held at 7:00 o’clock P.M.

Present,-President Hart, Councillors Hall, Hetel, Swartz, Daly O’Brien, Scatamacchia, Ryan and Curtin

Absent,-Councillor Macek

Records of the last meeting were approved.

Councillor Swartz was appointed to read the records for the present week.

Notice was received from Mayor Fiorentini of the appointment of Rosalie Ryan to the Haverhill Cultural Council. Said appointment effective October 13, 2006 to expire May 18, 2008.

Petition was received from Attorney James Waldron representing EBY Commercial Real Estate LLC requesting A Special Permit to reconstruct the building at 61 Brown st for a Congregate Care/Assisted Living Facility with 81 units at the former site of the Glynn Hospital.
