Meeting of the City Council was held at 7:00 o’clock P.M.
Present,-President Hart, Councillors Hall, Hetel, Swartz, Daly O’Brien, Scatamacchia, Ryan and Curtin
Councillor Macek was appointed to read the records for the past week and Councillor Ryan for the present week.
Application was received from John Shibel for a Hawker/Peddler license to sell Christmas trees at 24 Summer st at the Haverhill Elks #165, December 2 nd thru December 23 rd, Monday-Friday 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM .

Councillor Daly O’Brien introduced Document 43-G To Wit: ORDERED: That the City of Haverhill hereby accepts the provisions of MGL c.59, section 5 cl.54. Also, pursuant to said MGL c.59, section 5, cl.54, the City of Haverhill hereby establishes a minimum fair cash value required for personal property accounts to be subject to taxation within the City of Haverhill to be those in excess of $2,500.00.
