ORGANIZATION for 2007

CITY OF HAVERHILL JANUARY SECOND

Meeting of the City Council was held at 7:00 O’clock P.M.

Present,-President Hart, Councillors Hall, Hetel, Swartz, Daly O’Brien, Scatamacchia, Ryan and urtin

Absent,-Councillor Macek

Records of the last meeting were approved

Councillor Swartz was appointed to read the records for the present week.

On motion of Councillor Hall VOTED: To proceed to the election of a President of the City Council.

Yeas 8, Absent 1

Councillor Hall nominated MICHAEL J. HART FOR MICHAEL J. HART President Hart, Councillors Hall, Hetel, Swartz, Daly O’Brien, Scatamacchia, Ryan and Curtin

Yeas 8, Absent 1 COUNCILLOR MICHAEL J. HART was declared elected.

The oath of office was then administered to the President-Elect as appears by the following certificate, COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS

Then personally appeared MICHAEL J. HART President-Elect of the City Council of the City of Haverhill and was duly sworn to the faithful and impartial discharge of the duties of said office.
