Meeting of the City Council was held at 7:00 o’clock P.M.
Present,-President Hart, Councillors Hall, Hetel, Swartz, Daly O’Brien, Scatamacchia, Ryan and Curtin
Records of the last two meetings were approved.
Councillor Hetel was appointed to read the records for the present week.
Communication was received from Mayor Fiorentini
requesting to address the Council with an update on
the Downtown Parking Garage.
Communication was received from Councillor Hall
requesting a discussion regarding summer jobs for
Communication was received from Councillor Ryan
requesting a discussion regarding felled trees on Salem st.
Hearing was held on Document 26, a petition from
Attorney James Waldron requesting a Street Acceptance
of Jamaica Lane as a Public Way.

Councillor Hall introduced Document 26-B To Wit: ORDERED: Order to accept Jamaica Lane as a Public Way

Councillor Hetel introduced Document 44 To Wit: ORDERED: That the Mayor be and is hereby authorized to
negotiate a memorandum of agreement with the MVRTA for
a parking facility in on and around the site of Ted’s
for Tires at 57 Granite st, and to assist the MVRTA
in achieving site control of adjoining parcels.
Councillor Swartz introduced Document 45 To Wit: ORDERED: That the Mayor be and is hereby authorized on
behalf of the City of Haverhill to accept an easement
from WBC Extrusion Products Inc to the City
relative to the construction and installation of a
sewer and lift station for Fondi rd, a Fondi rd,
a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated
City Clerk Toomey introduced Document 46 To Wit: ORDERED: Appropriate $503,252 in additional funds
for Sewer Extensions to Fondi rd/Hilldale av area
and lower Lake st
