Meeting of the City Council was held at 7:00 o’clock P.M.

Present,-President Hart, Councillors Hall, Hetel, Swartz, Scatamacchia, Macek, and Curtin

Absent,-Councillors Daly O’Brien and Ryan

Records of the last meeting were approved.

Councillor Hall was appointed to read the records for the present week.

Communication was received from Mayor Fiorentini requesting that he & Planning Director William Pillsbury address the Council regarding the application for expedited permitting grant under MGL Chpt 43D and the Order designating the Hilldale av Industrial Park as an expediated permitting zone. 24-H

Notice was received from Mayor Fiorentini off the appointment of Timothy Clough to the Recycling Committee. Said appointment effective May 30, 2007.

HEARINGS

Hearing was held on Document 39, an application for a Special Permit from Attorney Richard Sheehan representing Merrimack Valley Hospice requesting to construct a Nursing Home on North av. (Attorney Richard Sheehan requested to reschedule the hearing to July 10th).

On motion of Councillor hall to postpone to July 10 2007 the yeas and nays were as follows:

Hearing was held on Document 47, an application for a Special Permit from Attorney James Waldron representing Richard Early, Trustee of D & D Realty Trust, requesting to build a three-unit multifamily dwelling on Washington st - to be sold as condos.(Attorney James Waldron requested to reschedule the hearing to June 12th).

On motion of Councillor Macek to postpone to June 12 2007 the yeas and nays were as follows:
