Records of the last meeting were approved.
Councillor Ryan was appointed to read the records for the present week.
Petition was received from Christine Rau/Haverhill Historical Society/ Buttonwoods Museum Trustee and Festival of Tree’s committee member, requesting permission to hang a Festival of Trees banner across Rt 125 in Bradford near the Bradford common from November 22nd to December 6th with a second possible choice of Main st side of parking deck for the same dates
Communication was received from Councillor Daly O’Brien requesting
to discuss a request from Douglas Greenlaw regarding his Hawker/Peddler’s license.
Communication was received from Councillor Macek requesting to discuss list of street lights which have been recommended for turn off.
Document 55 - An application was received from Attorney William
Early for owners D & D Realty Trust and Carl & Aida Khalil for property located on Orchard st; to construct 4, 4-unit buildings (16 total) each
3 bedrooms. Communication was received from Attorney William Early for applicants requesting to postpone hearing to October 19, 2010.
ON MOTION OF COUNCILLOR HALL THAT STREET ACCEPTANCE IS CONTINGENT UPON CONFIRMATION TO CITY ENGINEER THAT THE SUM OF $576.00 IN UNPAID CLERK OF WORKS INSPECTION FEES FOR THE PROJECT HAS BEEN RECEIVED.
Communication from Councillor Amirian to introduce Doug Edison from Haverhill’s Brightside to update Council on their upcoming efforts to rehab burial grounds.
