Records of the Oct 12 & Oct 19 meetings were approved.
Councillor Hall was appointed to read the records for the present week.
Application was received for permit to hold Block Party from Greg Madden for Chandler st, Sat, October 23, 2:00 pm to 12 midnight.
Application was received for permit to hold 5K Run/Walk to benefit Veterans’ Northeast Outreach Center, from Toddi Norum, beginning at Haverhill Stadium, Sunday, November 7, 8:00 am to 11:00 am.
Application was received for special license to sell alcoholic beverages from Deb Ingalls for the Winnekenni Foundation, at Winnekenni Castle Monster Masquerade Ball, Saturday October 30, 6:00 PM to 12 Midnight.
Petition was received for special permit from Robert K Ahern, Highview LLC for City to accept Phillips Crossing as public way.
Communication was received from Councillor Amirian requesting to introduce David Zoffoli and Eric Karlstad from the Adams Grant Steering Committee.
Communication was received from Councillors Macek & Hall requesting
a discussion regarding street lights and also to introduce representatives
Hearing was held on Document 105, a petition from Verizon New England requesting Conduit location on North Broadway, plan 702. With
Joseph Gleason from Verizon New England appearing in favor and no one in opposition, the hearing was closed.
ON MOTION OF COUNCILLOR MACEK TO AMEND TO INCLUDE ALL THE RECOMMENDATIONS
City Clerk Toomey introduced Document 40-N To Wit:
Councillor Macek presented the Minutes of the Natural Resources & Public Property Committee meeting held October 13. The Committee voted to surplus or discontinue a parcel of land adjacent to 42 Newark Street.
