City of Haverhill February 8, 2011

Meeting of the City Council was held at 7:00 o’clock P.M., Room 204.

Present,-President Hart, Councillors Scatamacchia, Ryan, Young, Hall, LePage, Daly O’Brien, Amirian and Macek.

Records of the last meeting were approved.

Councillor Scatamacchia was appointed to read the records for the present week.

PETITIONS

Petition was received from Lynne Dulong, President of Haverhill Girls Softball League requesting to hang banner; between the intersection of Salem & South Main st; from February 28 to March 11 to advertise League registration. Related communication requesting to withdraw petition.

Abatement report was received for month of January 2011 from Board of Assessors.

Document 5-P, Communication was received from Police Chief Alan DeNaro requesting to address Council to highlight accomplishments and retirement of Haverhill Police Department Officer Timothy Donovan.

Request by Councillor Daly O’Brien to ask Mayor for signage at the MVRTA train station stating that Parking is allowed in the evening.
