Communication was received from Mayor Fiorentini requesting to address Council regarding the City’s FY 12 Budget. MAYOR STATED THIS IS A RESTORATIVE BUDGET. NO LAYOFFS AND INCREASE FUNDING FOR SCHOOL BUDGET. REPRESENTATIVE DEMPSEY HAS PROPOSED $2.4M ASSISTANCE TO ASSIST WITH HALE DEBT. HAS TO BE APPROVED BY SENATE.*
Application was received for Special License to sell alcoholic beverages from Butlers & Bars for Felicita Rodriguez at Winnekenni
Application was received for Hawker/Peddler license from Cheralyn
Cannon to sell hotdogs, chips, soda, water, ice cream, slush, sausages& lemonade at the Bradford Common; Monday-Sunday, 9 am to 9 pm
Petition was received from Tracy Fuller, Haverhill YMCA Executive
Director requesting permit fees be waived on renovation of Whittier Building, 87 Winter st; to be used as an Early Education Center and also

LOOKING AT WAYS TO BASE BILLS ON ACTUAL READINGS RATHER THAN ESTIMATES.
RADIO READ WILL PROVIDE READINGS ON ACTUAL BASIS IN THE FUTURE (5-7 YRS)

Councillor Hall presented the Minutes of the Public Safety Committee meeting held June 1, 2011 regarding fire protection at Ayers and Rocks Villages. A meeting will be held with the Mayor, Chief Borden and village companies to determine training particulars and related matters.
Councillor Daly O’Brien presented the Minutes of the Administration & Finance Committee meeting held June 2, 2011. Usage of Bradford Common
was discussed. The Nick Ross Auditorium usage will be continued to July 14 Administration & Finance Committee meeting.
