Meeting of the City Council was held at 7:00 o’clock P.M., Room 202.

Present,-President Hart, Councillors Scatamacchia, Ryan, Young, Hall, LePage, Amirian and Macek. Absent,-Councillor Daly O’Brien
Records of the last meeting were approved.

Councillor Ryan was appointed to read the records for the present week.

Communication was received from Councillor LePage requesting to introduce Neo Energy for a presentation on a proposed renewable energy facility in Haverhill. TONY CALANDRELLO, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER, GAVE A POWERPOINT PRESENTATION. THIS WOULD BE THE FIRST FACILITY BUILT IN THE U.S. DEDICATED TO RECYCLING FOOD WASTE. WILL NOT GENERATE ASH. PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL MEETING WILL BE HELD TUES, JUNE 21, AT CITY HALL, RM 301. CITY COUNCIL IS NOT THE PERMITTING AUTHORITY FOR THIS PROJECT. THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASS HAS APPROVED THIS PROJECT. *
