NEW BUSINESS

16. Order City accepts provisions of MGL Chapter 60A, Section 1, paragraph 8, which will allow service members in City who own cars in the City who are stationed outside the country for 45 days or more to receive a break on their excise taxes

17. Order City accept provisions of Chapter 131 of Acts of 2010, so-called “widow’s pension” which amends provisions of MGL c 32, section 101 to increase benefit of widow/er of a member retired for accidental disability retirement before August 9 1996 from $6,000 to $9,000 annually

18. Order to increase Municipal Lien Charges by amending document from 1988 by deleting figure “$25.00” and inserting in place there the figure “$50.00” effective July 1 2011

19. Order as part of Budget FY 2012 sum of $140,791,145 is raised/appropriated as follows:

  • $344,784 Water Receipts
  • $214,184 Wastewater Receipts
  • $1,400,000 Free Cash
  • $138,832,177 Taxation & Other Receipts

20. Order as part of FY 2012 annual budget the sum of $594,000 be raised and appropriated and transferred into Stabilization

21. Order as part of the FY 2012 annual budget the sum of $6,715,570 be appropriated to operate the Water Dept for items marked as appropriation as listed and $6,712,540 come from Water revenue, $347,814 to come from Water projected fund balance and that $344,784 be appropriated in the General Fund and funded from Water receipts

22. Order as part of FY 2012 annual budget the sum of $7,774,271 be appropriated to operate the Wastewater Department for items marked as appropriation as listed and $7,573,800 come from Wastewater revenue, $414,655 to come from Wastewater projected fund balance and that $214,184 be appropriated in the General Fund and funded from Wastewater receipts
