December 4, 2007 Meeting of the City Council was held at 7:00 o’clock P.M. Present,-President Hart, Councillors Hall, Hetel, Daly O’Brien, Scatamacchia, Macek, Ryan and Curtin. Absent,-Councillor Swartz Records of the November 13th meeting and the last meeting were approved. Councillor Curtin was appointed to read the records for the present week. _______________________ Notice was received from Mayor Fiorentini of the appointment
of Heidi Griffin to the Planning Board. Said appointment
effective December 4th to expire December 21 2008. Notice was received from Mayor Fiorentini of the appointment
of Christopher Smardz to the Bradford Common Historic District.
Said appointment effective December 4th to expire December 4 2010. Notice was received from Mayor Fiorentini of the appointment
of Ross Povenmire to the Brownfields Committee. Said appointment
effective November 29th to expire December 4 2008. Notice was received from Mayor Fiorentini of the appointment
of Colin LePage to the Cable Television Advisory Committee.
Said appointment effective November 19th. PETITIONS Applications were received for the following licenses:

Theatre license for “Chunky’s Cinema Pub” at 371 Lowell av,
for 3 Screens. Petition was received from Verizon New England & MA
Electric Co for a joint pole location on Locke st. Petition was received from Verizon New England for
a conduit location on Locke st & Duncan st. Abatement report was received from the Board of Assessors
for the month of November 2007. Communication was received from Councillor Hall
requesting a discussion regarding the removal of a handicap parking
space at 77 Cedar st. Communication was received from Councillor Daly O’Brien
requesting a discussion regarding changing the date of City-wide
Trick or Treat to October 31st. Communication was received from Councillor Hall
requesting a discussion regarding a Home Rule Petition for
Brian Santarlasci. HEARING Hearing was held on Document 97, an application for a Special Permit from Attorney James Waldron representing Trident Management Corp, to build a 4-unit multifamily dwelling at 51 Webster st; Assessor’s Map 203, Block 34, Lot 1A.
