April 29, 2008 Meeting of the City Council was held at 7:00 o’clock P.M. Present,-President Hart, Councillors Scatamacchia, Ryan, Macek, Daly O’Brien, Hall, McGonagle, Donahue and Quimby. Records of the last meeting were approved. Councillor McGonagle was appointed to read the records
for the present week. Notice was received from Mayor Fiorentini of the
appointment of James C Cronin to the Planning Board. Said Notice was received from Mayor Fiorentini of the appointments of the following to the Educational Fund Committee:

Haverhill Community Violence Coalition to make a presentation
about Respect-Protect-Connect event on May 17th and Communication was received from Councillor Hall
requesting to introduce Tim Clough to discuss placing nonbinding
public opinion advisory question on November 2008 ballot
regarding curbside recycling. Communication was received from Councillors
Daly O’Brien and Donahue requesting to recognize Karen Communication was received from Councillor Daly O’Brien
requesting a discussion regarding the continued road problems
