December 15, 2009 Meeting of the City Council was held at 7:00 o’clock P.M. Present,-President Hart, Councillors Scatamacchia, Ryan,
Macek, Daly O’Brien, Hall, McGonagle, Donahue and Quimby. Councillor Scatamacchia was appointed to read the records for the
present week. Communication was received from Mayor Fiorentini of the designation of
John Pettis as the Right of way Coordinator for Route 125/South Main st reconstruction project. The following appointments were made by Mayor Fiorentini to the TASK FORCE
ON TECHNOLOGY: Karen Buckley, Robert Bertoni, David Spaulding, Pam Carr,
Robert DeFusco. Effective immediately. The following appointments were made by Mayor Fiorentini:

to open Willow st in front of lots 23 and 23C to install water and sewer hook-ups for 2 new duplex units being built on these lots. Abatement report was received from Board of Assessors for the
month of November. COMMUNICATIONS Communication was received from Councillor Daly O’Brien requesting
a discussion regarding complaints about problems in the Brandy Brow rd area. Communication was received from Councillor Macek requesting a discussion regarding proposed signage at City Hall by the HTM (Haverhill Teachers Municipal)Credit Union. Councillor Macek submitted the Minutes of the Natural Resources & Public Property Committee meeting held December 3rd. On motion of Councillor Macek to send a letter to Mayor Fiorentini to accept recommendations of the subcommittee to allow installation of sign at City Hall and document pertaining to their lease would have to be updated to reflect change. The yeas and nays were as follows: Communication was received from Councillor Macek requesting a discussion regarding installation of safety improvements in both directions at the cross walk on Bethany st. Communication was received from Councillor Daly O’Brien requesting
a discussion regarding a property line at 23-25 State st. Communication was received from Councillor Hall requesting a street light in front of 25 Tobey av at route 621/pole 4. HEARINGS Petition was received from National Grid requesting pole location
