Haverhill Conservation Commission Offices
Duties of Offices:
- Chairperson - Responsible for presiding at public meetings and hearings of
Commission; works with other City officials to promote wetlands and open space
protection; works with Department's staff to maximize public service and the
implementation of all relevant federal, state, and local laws, ordinances,
regulations, and policies; interacts directly with the public as a liaison
with the City.
- Vice-Chair - Presides in the absence of the Chairperson; assists the Chairperson
in performing his/her duties; responsible for reviewing and maintaining updated
Conservation Commission Guidelines; responsible for reviewing special conditions and
stipulations proposed for usage in the issuance of an Order of Conditions and
Determination of Applicability.
- Clerk - Works with Department's secretary to review and finalize all meeting minutes
for formal acceptance by the Commission.
