DOMESTIC ANIMALS PROHIBITED FROM PUBLIC WATER SUPPLIES The Board of Health, City of Haverhill, in accordance with, and under the authority granted by Chapter 111, Section 31 of the Massachusetts General Laws, promulgated and adopted the following regulation at a public hearing held on August 19, 2003: Domestic animals are prohibited from entering a body of water or onto the ice of a public water supply, or tributary to a public water supply, or from Lake Saltonstall. Penalty of Violation: Any owner of a domestic animal who allows the domestic animal to violate the conditions of this regulation may be subject to a $25.00 fine. Org. 8/19/03 |
